oh, friday...i thought you'd never get here! this weekend will be filled with lots of ice cream, reading, and football-watching. it's snowing here...again. and while it's an absolutely gorgeous white, feather-dusting of a snow, i'm downright tired of this cold weather. so i thought this print, over at 20x200, was the perfect escape for my winter blues...

finally! i've been wanting to post these little beauties for weeks now and just haven't had the time. i found this fabulous striped fabric at a liquidation sale several months ago and knew it would make the perfect pillow cover material. using these easy-to-follow directions from tiny decor, i made two covers in fairly good time [for me at least].

weekend sewing...

i read weekend sewing a few weeks ago and found lots of wonderful ideas for projects, both easy and a little more difficult. one of my favorite projects? an awesome tent for "camping" in the backyard. now if only i could turn in a sewing project instead of my homework...

the good news? i finished my large weekly project, so tomorrow will be craft day. get excited!

things have been craaaazy this week! sorry for my inattention. i swear i have tons of lovely stuff to show you [as i keep promising], i just can't find the time to get it all organized. fortunately, it's the weekend [well, almost], so i'll be trying my hardest to pull myself together.
